Galway Host Family Centre
Galway is Ireland’s fastest growing and third largest city.
This fascinating city was founded by the Gaels, set in the middle of Ireland’s beautiful west coast. Many find that the centre of this city to be the most distinctly Irish of any of Ireland’s cities. Galway is a city port but now also a centre for higher education. It is the gateway to the glories of the west coast, including the Burren, Connemara and the Arran Islands.
Our host families are personally selected by our experienced Galway Centre Director, who looks after the groups whilst they are staying in the city.
Families provide full board accommodation for students in two, three or four students per family. Families look after the students every evening.
Educational Visits may be planned and booked by the visiting school group or by Sul.
We are able to provide a guide or escort for the visits if requested. There is also the option formal English lessons which link the language to the educational visits, enhancing the value of the trip for all school classes.
