Nenagh is the principal town of northern Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland. It lies in the fertile plains of the great river Shannon, 40 minutes west of Limerick. The Silver mountains lie just to the south and the beautiful Lough Derg on the Shannon is a short distance to the north of the town. Nenagh is full of history such as the medieval castle. The modern town is a busy shopping centre for the region, with many good leisure facilities and schools. Our students are able to live with families in and around this town. Irish hospitality is famous and our families are happy to make their students part of their lives. Our groups visiting Limerick and the many different culturally important sites around.

1700Return to host families
1800Evening meal with the host families
1930Stay with host families or evening activities. 2-4 evenings/week (e.g. disco, bowling or English club)
2100-2200 Back in host families for those who went out.
