Adult English Training
SUL offers individuals and small groups tailor made courses in General and Business English. We are also able to offer courses for English teachers.
We offer a choice of carefully selected host families, hotels, bed and breakfast or private self catering accommodation....
Are the activity programmes and sports included in the price list?
Yes all of our activities and sports are included in the residential prices....
Arrival day
It is generally more preferable if you arrive on a Saturday for our courses, but this isn’t cast in stone....
Do I need a visa to study in the UK?
If you are living outside of the E.U. then yes you will need to apply for a visa in advance of coming to the UK....
Do you offer transfers?
On our international residential programmes we encourage people to come in groups of approximately 15 students (with 1 free leader) and we then arrange for a small coach to meet you at the airport and transfer you to the residential college. (There is an extra charge for this service).
This doesn’t mean individuals cannot come on our international programmes but if they are happy to travel alone, there is a regular bus service to our centres or we can look at providing a coach to wait at the airport if there are a number of people arriving at a similar time....
Does my child need travel insurance?
Students under the age of 18 must have comprehensive medical, travel and personal insurance.
As standard policies are often inadequate for the junior market, for your protection SUL has arranged a comprehensive policy with Student Guard+, to cover you whilst you are in the UK. This is formulated especially for students on English language courses in the UK and is underwritten by ACE European Group Limited....
Home tuition
We have families for One-to-One home tuition courses in Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Swindon, Exeter and Cornwall.
Typically our classes are 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Generally you can have more lessons if you require them....
How can a child contact their parents whilst away?
Most students use their mobile phones daily, during their ‘free time.’ In every residential college there will also be fixed line telephones available. Students must ask their group leader for advice on the use of these phones if required....
How do I book?
You can either telephone our office and we can take some details over the telephone or you can download an enrolment form and send that in to us as detailed on the form. We require £250.00 per person deposit to be paid at the time of booking....

It is important to select a course relevant to your child’s interests. SUL believes it offers a variety of courses to appeal to a wide variety of student needs’....
