Educational Visits in the British Isles

Our educational school visits are for school classes in their term time. This offers teachers and their students a valuable opportunity to experience an introduction to the culture and history of the British Isles.

All our Educational Visit Programmes include:

  • full board accommodation in either a host family or a residential centre
  • full educational visit booking visit service
  • dedicated services of a member of our office team
  • the options of a tour guide and English language tuition

Planning Your Visit

We plan our cross-curriculum programmes with the co-operation of the teachers to meet their educational objectives.

  • Our centres allow teachers to study a wide range of educational themes including: language, literature, history, sustainable living, occupations and the British way of life.
  • For groups staying in South-West England, we offer the option of the theme of sustainable living, including a visit to the famous Eden Project.
  • Our English language option is often chosen by Primary Schools who stay for two weeks or by Seconday Schools who stay in one centre for at least 5 nights.

Personal Development

Our educational trips are organised by teachers to enhance the curriculum experience offered by their schools. However these visits are also important opportunities for personal and social development. These visits not only give life to the curriculum but enable teachers to form a closer bond with their students, privileging future learning experiences.

Primary Schools

We organise educational visits for foreign primary school groups visiting South-West England and South-East England.

  • Schools normally bring 10 year old students to England, so they prefer to stay in one of our residential centres for one to two weeks. These centres may by private boarding schools or other centres of suitable residential centre.
  • Full board accommodation includes:
    - dormitories for students, single rooms for class teachers
    - modern dining rooms for breakfast, cooked or packed lunch and evening meals
    - group common rooms and study areas
    - outside areas for relaxation.
  • We offer all schools the services of our Residential Course Director, English teachers and Group Guides for the educational visits.

Secondary Schools

Our classes from Secondary Schools (students aged 12-16 years) normally choose to stay in our host family centres.

  • Families offer full board accommodation to 2-4 students each. Families are personally selected by our local Host Family Centre Directors, who visit every family on a regular basis and look after our groups during their stay. Families look after their students in the evenings.
  • Staying with host families privileges students’ English language skills and offers an ideal introduction to the local way of life.
  • Those groups choosing to add English language classes, help integrate the language and cultural aspects of the programme.
