SUL Language Schools
Host Family Centres
The term time school groups who choose the host family centre option are typically students aged 12-16 years old. SUL has a a wide variety of locations to offer in England, Scotland and Ireland.
Most groups are have between 25 and 50 students. They travel with their English teachers and other teachers from their school. Families will host between 2 and 4 students each. They are personally selected by our local Host Family Centre Directors, who visit every family on a regular basis and look after our groups during their stay.

The benefits of the host family option
Families provide the students and teachers with all their meals and look after them in the evenings. Staying with host families privileges English language skills and offers an introduction to the local way of life. Some schools chose to add English language classes, helping to integrate the language and cultural aspects of the programme.
