    Tywardreath is a village very near the south coast of Cornwall, between Fowey and St Austell (also close to the Eden Project). This is where we have our offices and teaching facilities for adults. This is an ideal location for serious students who are looking for tailor made courses in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. Daphne Du Maurier lived very close by. Her novel ‘The House on the Strand’ is set in and around Kilmarth (where Daphne du Maurier lived from 1967) near this Cornish village of Tywardreath, which means ‘HOuse on the Beach (or strand) in the old Cornish language.

    The main line railway station of Par is a short walk, with trains to and from Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, Reading and London Paddington. Another line runs to Bristol, Bormingham and up to Edinburgh. The direct train from London Paddinton takes about 4.5 hours

    The nearest airport is Newquay with Flybe, Air South West, Ryan Air and BmiBaby selling direct flights to and from several cities inclusing Bristol, London Gatwick (Air South-West and Flybe) and London Stansted (Ryan Air).

    45 minutes away is Plymouth Airport. Exeter Airport is 80 minutes and Bristol 2.5 hours.
