Barnstaple and nearby Bideford are historic market towns on the north coast of Devon, a region famous for its beautiful landscapes and friendly people.
Bideford is a not just well known for tourism but has a lively historic market and fishing industry. Our students are able to live with families in and around this town. Groups visit the historical places with teachers as well as enjoying the modern shopping and leisure facilities.
0915English lessons - 3x1 hour lessons with 15 minutes break at 11am.
1200Lunch - packed lunch provided by the family
1430Afternoon activities begin. EG basketball, badminton, football, swimming, tennis, drama workshop, local visits
1700Return to host families
1800Evening meal with the host families
1930Stay with host families or evening activities. 2-4 evenings/week (e.g. disco, bowling or English club
2100Back in host families for those who went out.
