Sligo is the largest county in the north west of the Republic of Ireland. Its population of 20,000 people enjoy living on the magnificent Atlantic coast with its variety of mountains, beaches, lakes and forests.
Sligo is famous for its connections with one of Ireland’s most famous poets, W B Yeates, as well as for the prehistoric heritage and traditional Irish music. It has several very modern leisure facilities such as the new Sports Complex.
Our students are able to live with families in and around this town. Irish hospitality is famous and our families are happy to welcome their students into their family lives.
